Tell us a bit more about Bespoke

We joined forces in May 2019, following a Lloyds Banking Group banking background – it was two ideas coming together to make something perfect! We’re an independent brokerage (An appointed representative of The Right Mortgage & Protection Network) and have access to exclusive products from mortgages to protection services. We also offer a niche protection product for people who lead active lifestyles. 

The team has grown quite quickly, with six, soon to be seven mortgage advisers. We also have 74 five-star customer testimonials which we are so proud of and testament to the amazing work from the whole team. We stay true to our core values of trust, respect and partnership, providing the very best customer service at all times.

How did your partnership with JP & Brimelow come about?

When the business was first set up, it was all about getting our feet off the ground. Nearly two years in, we’re now ready to partner up with Eddie and his fantastic team at JP & Brimelow.

People often start looking for properties and have never had any professional mortgage or protective services advice – that’s where we come in. Eddie wants to make sure his clients are given the correct advice from the start, so no one is wasting any time and the house buying process is as streamlined as possible.

What is a typical customer journey?

There is an initial appointment with the client at a time that best suits them – we are flexible. The main questions we ask are around what you are looking for, your current situation, etc. We carry out a fact find and obtain the required documentation up front, so that the process is fully transparent from the start.

You will then receive an email from one of our customer relationship consultants which is followed up with a call from your adviser. This will give you all the costings from the start, along with our product recommendation and then it’s just a case of yes or no.

We’re all about trust from day one, and this is carried throughout the entire customer journey from mortgage application through to completion with our clients receiving regular updates from start to finish. 

What advice would you give to someone looking at mortgages?

We would always recommend to-speak to someone like ourselves to give you the right advice from the start and confirm the options available to you. Assessing your needs and circumstances is so important to get you the right mortgage or insurance product for you, so why not have an expert do this for you.

Your home is also the biggest purchase of your life, so why would you not protect it?
