The Bank of England Governor Mark Carney has indicated that interest rates are going to stay lower than expected, with a rate rise now forecast for 2017 at the earliest. With the recent stock market turmoil and the oil price rout showing no sign of abating, Carney has said that "now is not yet the time" to raise rates from historic low of 0.5 per cent, adding that any such move would "depend on economic prospects, not the calendar."

St Ann's Hospice Colour Run 2016
We’ll be bringing a kaleidoscope of colour to Manchester this spring with our latest fundraising event!

The St Ann’s Hospice Colour Run is a 5km sponsored event, with participants being showered with multi-coloured powder paint (safe, environmentally friendly corn starch) as they walk, run or jog the route!

It takes place in Wythenshawe Park on Sunday 20th March and the fun starts at 11am. There will also be a selection of stalls and activities for all the family to enjoy on the day.

Once you have registered we will send you a dedication ribbon. On the ribbon you can write the name of someone who means something to you and tie it around your wrist on the day. As you cross the finish line, you will see the Tree of Dedication where you can hang your dedication ribbon.
