Based in Chorlton since 2007, we’re proudly independent and local community is our ethos. Whether it’s offering a space to eat or drink in, or a spot to settle in with your laptop or host an event in, Proof will always serve up a warm welcome with neighbourhood at its heart.
Initially established as a cocktail bar, in the summer of 2020 amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, we installed our kitchen and Proof Bar & Kitchen was born. We wanted you to be able to enjoy your cocktails without going hungry. So, with community as our focus, sociable eating is what we wanted to provide.
Our vegetarian-led menu offers up wholesome food that brings together independent suppliers and local ingredients to give you great food with relaxed vibes. Brunch and Bloody Marys or plates to share and a bottle of red are what we do. We don’t want anyone to miss out either – two of Team Proof are gluten-intolerant! – so catering for your dietary restrictions is important to us.
