Chorlton Arts Festival..
Sponsors of Chorlton Arts Festival 2025.
We are hugely grateful to our local sponsors, without whom we could not organise, publicise and support Chorlton Arts Festival. No payments are made to Committee members, artists or venues, other than modest expenses. Accepting sponsorship does not mean Chorlton Arts Festival endorses those sponsoring organisations; we accept no conditions on how we spend the donation; and all of our sponsors have agreed to our ethos of inclusivity.
About.
The Chorlton Arts Festival is a popular community event which started in 2022. Since 2019 it has been organised under the umbrella of Chorlton Civic Society. Our ethos is one of accessibility for all and the conviction that everyone can be an artist. No fees are paid. It usually takes place at the end of May and includes visual arts of all kinds, music of all genres, poetry, creative writing, performance, dance, creativity workshops, even virtual art exhibition – whatever you enjoy you will find in the Festival. The Festival is supported by local businesses and the Council; organised entirely by local volunteers; local artists and venues give of their skills and facilities, so most events are free to attend, making sure there are no barriers to participation and enjoyment.
This is a truly community arts festival, with schools, groups and local artists taking part across the age span and from all parts of Chorlton. Artists from, or with a connection to Chorlton or nearby are welcome. All venues are local and within walking distance, so it provides an opportunity to celebrate creativity on your doorstep. All the Festival information is to be found on the website www.chorltonartsfestival.org and printed programmes are available at handy venues across Chorlton. There are lots of ways to take part in the Festival – you could participate as an artist, as a member of the organising team; as a volunteer helping to ensure the Festival – or just come along and enjoy yourself. The Festival is a great way to find out about local talent, meet new people and get to know places in Chorlton. Information about taking part is published on the website and across Chorlton – have a look, and when the dates are published, make sure you put them in your diary and be a part of this exciting community event. A flavour of the recent Festivals Festival can be found on Instagram or on the website.
