Auteur Store –  The Home of Independent Premium Menswear.

Situated on the popular independent hub of Beech Road. Auteur store opened in October 2023. The store was opened by local resident Alex Otterwell who has over 20 years experience in the men’s fashion industry.

One of the key visions for the store is to work with brands who celebrate slow production and clothing that is made to last. Alex says ” One of our specialities is Japanese Selvedge Denim. The brands we work with manufacture denim in the traditional methods that Levis & Lee used Pre 1970, back when jeans were made to last ten years not ten months.”

All jeans come with free alterations, to ensure the perfect fit.

One to one service.

Everyone is welcome to browse in a no pressure relaxed environment but for those who require the team offers a personal shopping and styling service to help you find that perfect outfit or a style refresh.

The store is open Tuesday – Saturday 11:00 – 17:00 or you can shop online www.auteur.store

The store also works with the Chorlton Bike delivery service for same day delivery for M21 , M16 & M20 Postcodes.
