Community (Youth) on Solid Ground – YSG (Charity) is a youth, sport, and community organisation based in Manchester, UK, dedicated to empowering young people aged 6-18 and strengthening local communities. Operating primarily in Whalley Range, Chorlton, and across the wider South Manchester area, YSG delivers a diverse range of programmes focused on building confidence, resilience, and overall wellbeing through positive engagement, education, sport, mentoring, and tailored support services.

The charity’s work includes youth clubs, Jnr Gym, Sports coaching, and holiday activities, alternative education provision, fitness and self-defence training, mentoring and employability support, residential trips, sports events, creative activities, and mental health and healthy living workshops.
