Meet Our Local Professional Boxer – Kaine..

We’re supporting Kaine throughout 2026.

I began my sporting journey in football at the age of six, playing continuously through to 18 across various levels of the football pyramid. My transition into boxing came unexpectedly following a football-related injury. On the recommendation of a friend, I started attending a boxing gym to rebuild my fitness during recovery. Once I returned to full fitness, I developed a passion for the sport and committed myself fully, improving day by day.

I had my first fight at 18; however, just as I was beginning to build momentum, the COVID-19 pandemic interrupted my progress. Following lockdown, I remained highly active, balancing both boxing and football. My weekly routine consisted of boxing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, alongside football training and matches on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

By the age of 23, the physical demands of maintaining both sports became unsustainable, and I faced a pivotal decision: to pursue football or boxing. I chose to fully dedicate myself to boxing, stepping away from football and committing to a disciplined training schedule, often training twice daily, with the clear ambition of becoming a champion.

Despite this shift, my passion for football remains strong. I continue to stay involved in the game by coaching locally in my community at Chorlton & West Didsbury FC, where I manage the Under-14 girls’ team. Coaching allows me to stay connected to the sport, contribute to the development of young players, and give back to the community that shaped me.

Having grown up in Chorlton, I am now focused on building support within my local community as I embark on my professional boxing career. I am determined to represent my area with pride and to deliver exciting performances as I progress through the ranks.

Thank you
