Welcome to Stretford Public Hall..

Stretford Public Hall is at the heart of it all, a beautiful Grade II listed building that belongs to the community, run by the community, for the community.

We’re here to create space for good things to happen.

We run our own programme of events and activities, live music and film nights, celebrations and workshops, arts, culture, health and wellbeing. And we provide spaces for hire, for weddings, meetings, parties, and everything in between.

We’re also one of Trafford’s six Community Hubs, working with local health and social care teams to support Stretford residents who need it most. Stretford Public Hall has been community-owned since 2015, when Friends of Stretford Public Hall took it on through a community asset transfer.

Run by dedicated volunteers and a small staff team, we’re a charitable Community Benefit Society with over 800 members, people who believe in what this place can be. This is a working building with a working heart.

Every pound we make gets reinvested, into keeping your Hall running, restoring its character, and making sure it’s here for generations to come.
