Halfway Through 2026. Investing in Our Greatest Asset: Our People..

As we reach the halfway point of 2026, it’s a great opportunity to pause, reflect and celebrate not just what we’ve achieved as a business, but how we’ve grown as individuals.

At JP & Brimelow, we believe that success isn’t just measured in properties sold or keys handed over. It’s about building a team that feels confident, supported, resilient and motivated to be the very best version of themselves.

That’s why, at the beginning of the year, we welcomed Nikki, our Mindset Business Coach, to work alongside the team.

Six months on, we can honestly say it’s been one of the best investments we’ve made.

More Than Just Positive Thinking

Mindset coaching isn’t about standing in a room repeating motivational quotes or pretending every day is perfect.

It’s about giving people practical tools to deal with the challenges that come with working in a fast-paced industry like estate agency.

From handling pressure and difficult conversations to improving communication, managing stress, building confidence and developing positive habits, Nikki has introduced techniques that the whole team can use both inside and outside of work.

The sessions have encouraged us to stop, reflect and think differently.

Sometimes all it takes is a small change in mindset to create a big difference in performance.

Learning Together

One of the most rewarding aspects of the programme has been seeing the team embrace the ideas we’ve explored together.

Whether it’s changing the way we approach challenges, improving our listening skills, supporting one another more effectively or simply taking a moment to reset during a busy day, the techniques Nikki has shared are becoming part of our everyday culture.

The conversations don’t stop when the sessions finish either.

It’s been fantastic hearing the team refer back to previous workshops, share experiences and remind each other of the tools we’ve learnt over the last six months.

That’s when you know something is making a real difference.

Creating a Positive Workplace

Buying and selling homes can be emotional.

Every day, our team supports clients through some of life’s biggest moments, and that requires empathy, patience and resilience.

Looking after our own wellbeing allows us to provide an even better service to the people who trust us with their move.

Creating a positive working environment isn’t something that happens by accident. It takes commitment, investment and the right people to help shape it.

Nikki has played a huge part in that journey.

Thank You, Nikki

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Nikki for her energy, enthusiasm and the genuine care she brings to every session.

She has challenged us to think differently, encouraged us to step outside our comfort zones and given us practical strategies that are already making a positive impact across the business.

Here’s to the Next Six Months!

The first half of 2026 has been full of learning, growth and plenty of memorable conversations.

We’re excited to continue building on everything we’ve learnt so far and can’t wait to see what the next six months bring.

Because when you invest in your people, everybody wins. Our team, our clients and our community.

Here’s to another six months of learning, growing and continuing to be the very best team we can be.

Eddie.
