Winning away from home is never easy, especially on grass, but the team produced a superb performance to secure their place in the final. It’s a brilliant achievement and a real testament to the talent, determination and team spirit that continues to make Whalley Range Lawn Tennis Club such a special part of our local sporting community.

As passionate supporters of grassroots sport across South Manchester, we know just how much commitment goes into reaching a final. From the players and captains to the volunteers and supporters, everyone plays their part, and this result is thoroughly deserved.

Even better, the final will now be played at home, giving the team the opportunity to compete in front of their members, families and local supporters. Home advantage can make all the difference, and we’re sure the club will be backed by a fantastic crowd.
