From Altrincham to Didsbury

Kennedy’s story began in Altrincham in 2021 before making the move to Didsbury.

The idea has always been straightforward. Create a brilliant place where people can come together, enjoy themselves and experience that genuine Irish bar atmosphere.

And it certainly seems to be working.

Kennedy’s has been named as one of just 35 pubs across the UK included in the inaugural Guinness Harp Guide 2026, recognising its Guinness, hospitality, atmosphere and community.

Even more impressive, Kennedy’s was also a finalist in the 2026 Great British Pub Awards in the Best Town Pub category. A fantastic achievement so soon after opening in Didsbury.

One of the things that makes Kennedy’s stand out is the energy.
