Strength for runners is returning in September!
Join along with @neila_jane_ from 9th September for a fresh batch of strength for runners classes! We will be back doing some functional fitness based exercises aimed towards running so you can continue to improve your running performance and help reduce overuse injuries. Many runners claim to
achieve better running times and their bodies feel more resilient by training, not just by running,
but also through body conditioning.
Together we will do unilateral exercises to help strengthen both sides of the body as one side
tends to dominate, exercises to increase power and mobility exercises to improve range and
running stride. You will gain motivation from being part of a group working towards the same
goals as you, while receiving guidance on technique and ensuring you are doing exercises safely
and efficiently.
In this coming month you will have a choice of two different classes, a morning session and an
evening session, so even if you cannot make it to all your 4 sessions due to sickness or other
commitments, you have the opportunity to make it up by joining the other class.
Dates and Times:
Monday morning 9th September 4 weeks
7.30am – 8.15am
Tuesday evening 10th September 4 weeks
8pm – 8.45pm
