About me:

Emily is the artist behind Lobster House Studios, based at Pollard Yard in Manchester. For the past six years, she’s been brightening up the city with her bold murals, from colourful shop windows that help small businesses show off their personality, to shutters and communication boxes that bring life to local streets.

She loves working closely with independent business owners, many of whom she’s built long-standing relationships with, and is just as passionate about community projects that bring people together through art.

Emily also runs creative workshops in schools, recently leading a mural project with pupils at Beaver Road Primary in Didsbury. For her, it’s important that young people get the chance to meet and learn from working artists in their own communities.
