Stretford Park Run – Important notice to all..

It’s the 10th birthday weekend – we ‘d love to see loads of you join us, and help with donations for Stretford foodbank. 1 important message – parking.

The park is in the middle of a busy residential area – the car park isn’t huge and fills up quickly, so please consider the following if travelling on Saturday..

There are 3 tram stops within a 10 minute walk:

Chorlton and Firswood on the Didsbury and airport lines and Stretford on the Alty line. If you’re local, please jog or cycle to the park – plenty of space to lock your bikes up. https://tfgm.com/ways-to-travel/tram

If you’re driving there are alternative parking places:

Stretford mall is 15 min walk and is free for 3 hours.

Chorlton Square car park – less than 10 mins and £1.

Turn Moss playing fields M32 8QD 5 – 10 min walk and free.

We love being a part of the Stretford and Chorlton community, so it’s important participants park respectfully, and not block residents driveways.
