Yes, another book launch…
I’m really proud of this book.
My local Withington Baths has been run by its community for ten years now. And back in February I was commissioned to make about a book to celebrate.

Here’s the back cover blurb:
‘For over a century, Withington Baths has been at the heart of its community. When closure threatened in 2013, local people were having none of it. A passionate campaign followed, and the Baths was eventually entrusted to the community to run for themselves.
‘Ten years later, this much-loved Edwardian building is not only surviving but thriving—with more people, more activities, and more joy than ever before. This book celebrates the voices and stories that make the Baths so special to so many, while demonstrating that community ownership truly works.’
The book launch is at the Baths on Saturday, 22nd November 5-8pm. Everyone is invited, come along to celebrate. You can pre-order the 80-page hardback book for £15 plus postage here.

Chorlton Sketchbook
We had a fab time at the launch of Len Grant’s Chorlton Sketchbook at The Lead Station last month. The event was kindly sponsored by JP & Brimelow Estate Agents which got the evening off to a great start.
The 104-page hardback book is selling well. You can get your copy by hitting the yellow button below or from Chorlton Bookshop, Smoak (opposite Unicorn grocery) or from Studio Critical (open Fridays and Saturdays only).
Here’s what they are saying about it: ‘Every page makes me smile… Absolutely love it… I can’t put in down… It will be a lovely keepsake for all of us who hold Chorlton dear… Your sketches capture Chorlton beautifully.’
Len Grant.
